Living Rome: dancing to rediscover it
Imagine experiencing Rome not through tired, everyday eyes, but with the wonder of someone seeing it for the very first time.
Not as a rushed tourist or a frustrated local — but as a living, breathing body, fully present and open.
With headphones on and bare feet touching the earth — among ancient pines, timeless stones and skies that blaze at sunset — we dance to reclaim the city, one step at a time.
Every week we gather in magical corners of Rome — some iconic, others hidden:
beneath the golden glow of the Colosseum, along the tree-lined paths of Villa Borghese, or on the bridges that cross the Tiber like arteries of memory and light.
When we dance with headphones, the traffic fades. The noise dissolves. Time shifts.
And Rome reveals itself again: raw, powerful, eternal.
No longer just a backdrop to our lives, but a sacred, living space to inhabit with grace.
Join us in this scenario of lightness and welcome, to fully enjoy our life.

Silentwaves City is …
“Living Rome” was born after the pandemic, out of a deep need to breathe, to step out, to feel part of this city again — not just passing through it, but truly living it.
To see it with fresh eyes. Light eyes. Eyes like a tourist in love.
Because the tourist still sees the magic.
While we — over time — have become hardened, detached, blind to its beauty.
So we dance.
To soften our gaze.
To open our hearts.
To fall in love with this city again.
Dancing in headphones changes your perspective.
The street is no longer just traffic — it becomes a pathway of presence.
A park becomes a temple. A sidewalk, a dance floor.
We gather in community, each on our own inner journey.
Yes, it’s a practice — but it’s also a celebration.
We laugh. We move. We share food and stories.
We remember the joy of being together, the power of movement, the beauty still pulsing through this ancient city.
“Living Rome” is all this:
an invitation to dance the city into a new light,
to celebrate it with joy and reverence,
to rediscover it… barefoot.
